The Gathering Ireland: Conference ‘Emigration through the Centuries’
Kilkenny Archaeological Socety are hosting a three day conference at Rothe House & Garden, to celebrate the Gathering. The theme of the conference is Emigration through the Centuries. A combination of lectures and guided tours, this conference explores emigration from Ireland, not just during the Famine period, but throughout the centuries. Speakers include Dr. Patrick Fitzgerald, Queens University Belfast, and Professor Terence Dooley, NUIM.
