Meeting of all genealogy interested parties during the week with Minister Jimmy Deenihan
CIGO's 2011 Chairman Paddy Waldron was among 37 invited speakers scheduled to speak on behalf of 31 groups involved in genealogy at a Meeting on Genealogy Records held in the National Library of Ireland on 7th September 2011. The Meeting was arranged by Mr. Jimmy Deenihan T.D., Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. Three members of the Raheny Heritage Society are currently council members of CIGO.
