Battle of Clontarf – where it all ended! - Evening Lecture

Clontarf Historical Society & Raheny Heritage Society are jointly organising a Series of Exploratory Lectures on The Battle of Clontarf. The series had its national launch in November 2013 with a half day seminar titled “What really happened at the Battle of Clontarf”. The second lecture of 2014 will by Dr. Pat Wallace, Excavator of Wood Quay and former director of NMI.

Lecture at 8.15pm followed by tea/coffee

“The archaelogy of Viking Dublin at Wood Quay" by Dr. Pat Wallace, Excavator of Wood Quay and former director of the National Museum of Ireland.

Charge €5 for non members per lecture. Attendance by members of both historical societies is included in the annual membership of €20.
