The Spring series of City Hall Lunch-time Lectures will take place each Tuesday in April 2012 from 1.10-1.50 p.m. The venue is the Council Chamber, City Hall, Dame Street, Dublin 2.

The theme will be: Dubliners - in their own words and the lecture series will describe recent Oral History projects carried out in Dublin.

This lecture series is also an event for the One City, One Book festival which celebrates James Joyce's short-stories Dubliners.

Admission to the lectures is free - no need to book but it's advisable to come early to secure a seat.

Chris Reid is a mixed-media artist, who lives and works in Dublin City. His practice often involves collaborating with communities, groups and individuals.  His most recent project, which was commissioned by Dublin City Council’s Arts Office, merged oral history with art and resulted in the publication Heirlooms and Hand-Me-Downs, issued in 2011.
