The Spring series of City Hall Lunch-time Lectures will take place each Tuesday in April 2012 from 1.10-1.50 p.m. The venue is the Council Chamber, City Hall, Dame Street, Dublin 2.
The theme will be: Dubliners - in their own words and the lecture series will describe recent Oral History projects carried out in Dublin.
This lecture series is also an event for the One City, One Book festival which celebrates James Joyce's short-stories Dubliners.
Admission to the lectures is free - no need to book but it's advisable to come early to secure a seat.
Ellen Murphy is Senior Archivist with Dublin City Library & Archive where she established the North Strand Bombing Oral History Project in 2009. She has also worked on the Dublin City Archaeological Archive and in 2010 she set up the Dublin City Sports Archive, within DCLA.
